STEMed Labs (www.stemedlabs.org) is launching the 2015-2016 STEMed Labs Ambassador Program and applications are now open. The program is a leadership experience where exceptional students that are passionate about making a difference in their communities in STEM education and computer science will collaborate on projects. As part of being an ambassador, you will interact with peers from other schools in Central Texas and act as thought leaders in your communities. Any student with an interest in STEM education from any high school is welcome to apply.
The last cohort of ambassadors gave rise to inspiring collaborations. One team from Westwood High School developed a week-long camp using Scratch at Del Valle High School to teach students that have no opportunities in CS at that school. This success story embodies the essence of our program: collaboration between student leaders across schools in order to share their enthusiasm and knowledge of STEM subjects with others.

We would like to cordially invite all high school students to apply to the ambassador program for the upcoming school year. The program webpage is http://www.stemedlabs.org/stemed-labs-ambassadors/ and applications are due by September 19th.

Please send all inquiries regarding applications to info@stemedlabs.org
