Professional Learning for Middle and High School Teachers

Designed around courses Computer Science Discoveries and Computer Science Principles, the 2018 Professional Learning Program for middle and high school teachers begins with a five-day, in-person summer workshop, WeTeach_TEX Con, followed by four additional one-day workshops throughout the year. You don’t need any prior computer science experience to get started, but if you are unsure which program is right for you, we offer some program recommendations to help you determine the best fit for your teaching situation.

The priority application period closes on March 30th, and we’ll review applications on a rolling basis. We look forward to reviewing your application!

WeTeach_TEX Con

WeTeach_CS is working with, Rice, and UT Dallas to host the WeTeach_TEX Con in Richardson, Texas, from July 30 to August 3, 2018. Lodging, along with breakfast and lunch, will be provided. Transportation from your home to the training will be reimbursed. Texas teachers can also earn continuing professional education (CPE) credits for their participation! There will also be four follow-up quarterly workshops in the Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio areas in the 2018-19 school year. Additional regions might be added based on teacher demand.

98% of past attendees say they would recommend the professional learning workshops to another teacher. Come experience it firsthand. Apply Today!
