Presentation proposals for the WeTeach_CS Summit to be held June 5-7, 2017 in Austin, TX are now being accepted. 2016’s inaugural WeTeach_CS Summit featured 56 breakout sessions on a variety of CS and related topics. Based on the positive feedback we received, we’re hoping to offer even more sessions for 2017!
As part of the Texas Education Agency’s ongoing effort to support new CTE teachers throughout the state, they are now offering a two-day mentor training for existing CTE mentors and those who wish to become mentors. The training will take place on March 6-7, 2017, in Austin, Texas, with 60 participants selected to attend the training.
We’re excited to announce that applications for Code.org’s Professional Learning Program for CS Principles and CS Discoveries are now open. If your school plans to offer these courses in 2017-18, please encourage interested teachers to apply today!
