CodeWizardsHQ offers scholarships to increase access to coding education for groups of students who are underrepresented in STEM.
This scholarship (Full Tuition Scholarship – $299 Value) will be awarded to one middle school student in the U.S. for CodeWizardsHQ’s 2016 Coding Summer Program.
As coding becomes a fundamental part of K-12 education, it is critical that students who have historically been underrepresented in STEM be encouraged to pursue coding education. This scholarship was created to encourage coding education for minority and female middle school students by awarding one scholarship to a student selected by CodeWizardsHQ.
To be eligible, students must be part of one of the following underrepresented groups: African Americans, American Indians/Alaska Natives, Latinos, and Female.
Eligible students must also be United States residents ages 10-15, and must have parent consent when applying for the CWHQ Diversity Scholarship.
If you are eligible, please complete the application form below and our team will be in contact shortly.
