As you may of you know there is a national effort, led by ACM, CSTA, Code.org, CIC, and NMSI, to develop a framework for K-12 computer science education. A few of the STEMx networks have played a lead role in crafting the framework, which is slated to be released this Summer. The framework is intended to outline what CS knowledge and skills students should develop by the end of grades 2, 5, 8, and 12, and to define baseline CS literacy for all students.

The development of the framework is approaching a critical juncture. The third and final public review of the framework is scheduled for June 8-29. I highly encourage all of the STEMx networks to submit feedback to via https://k12cs.org/review/. The review period will launch with a webinar on June 8 at 8pm ET. You can join the webinar here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkKxRadTXbk. You can sign up to be notified when it opens.
