The 2016 Project GUTS Online Professional Development Workshop will provide curriculum, tools, and teaching practices that will help you engage your middle and high school students in the powerful scientific practice of computational thinking! This four-week workshop is designed for teachers of grades 5-12, primarily science or technology teachers, interested in learning how to integrate computer science in science through computer modeling and simulation in StarLogo Nova. The online workshop consists of video content and StarLogo Nova activities you complete at your own pace, plus weekly webinars, and chats offered to support you and answer your questions. No prerequisites or prior experience needed.
