Code.org Teacher Applications are now open!

If you or a teacher you know is interested in joining a Professional Learning Community for CS Discoveries (grades 6-10) or CS Principles (grades 9-12), then this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for! Code.org is now accepting applications for its highly valued Professional Learning Programs. And no worries about your level of CS experience, these programs are geared for both new and experienced computer science teachers.

  • Summer Workshop Commitment – The required 5-day workshop will be held at UT Dallas from July 30-August 3, 2018
  • 2018-19 School Year Follow-up Workshop Commitment – These 1-day regional workshops will be held throughout Texas in the 2018-2019 school year.
  • Application Deadline – March 31, 2018

CS Discoveries Professional Learning Program

Our CS Discoveries Professional Learning program offers year round support designed for educators teaching a semester or full-year course. You don’t need any prior computer science experience to get started!

 

The program kicks off with 5-day summer workshop where you’ll have the opportunity to work hands-on with the CS Discoveries curriculum. Throughout the year, we offer online support for upcoming units, forum support, and 1-day quarterly workshops.
